NEW VIDEO: MISSY ELLIOTT “WHY I STILL LOVE YOU”

Missy Elliott’s taking it back, way back, in her EPIconology‘s new music video.

Co-directed by herself along with Derek Blanks, the throwback clip begins at an art museum in present time, where singer Monica gives her daughter a history lesson on the musical group, Missy and The Demeanors.

As the group’s paintings come to life, the three-decade journey begins in the ’60s, where Missy and her singers perform on a glitzy set in black-and-white. Fast forwarding to the ‘70s, she dons bellbottoms and a fro backstage where drama ensues with her group. For the ‘80s, the band members thrash their stage set as a Rock group. Even back then, music will make you loose control.
