Lil Nas X brings the horror to the “Rodeo” in the video for his recent remix featuring Nas.

Drawing inspiration to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video and the film The Matrix, the gruesome clip, directed by Bradley & Pablo finds the Grammy award-winning artist transforms into a vampire after being bitten in the neck. While prowling in the streets, he dances with his fellow creatures, links with a Morpheus -like Esco in a room counting money, and dodges bullets from a team of vampire slayers.

The original, which features Cardi B, is taken from his EP, 7. The remix was released shortly after its live premiere with Nas at last month’s Grammys.
